Two brothers very close but as different as can be.
lyrics
Fles and Oge
Two Brothers I know, one young and one old
One of them modest, the other quite bold
Fles the eldest, Oge the young
One known by silence, the other his tongue
They're always together, though strange it may seem
Two brothers so different keep close company
Oge is short, his complexion is pale
His body is strong, on the inside he's frail
Fles is dark and he's very tall
To those around him he seems very small
In fact he's so dark he can scarcely be seen
He's always out shun buy Oge's gaudy gleam
Oge is arrogant, spiteful and crass
When he's not making folks angry he's making them laugh
Fles is silent, he rarely speaks at all
when he opens his mouth his words invoke awe
More valuable than gold, his honey sweet words
That drip from his tongue like the song of rare birds
Greater his heart, with a passion of fire
A vision of virtue and his will is of iron
But Oge knows not his brother full well
He thinks of him not, but only himself
In spite of this, he must love his brother dear
If it wasn't for Fles he would have no one near
Perhaps it's because they're of one flesh and blood
But what Fles has forgotten, is that Oge was adopted
But Oge is none the wise, cause he was raised on lies
If he knew the truth he probably would die
